Official Inauguration Ceremony of the Association of Cypriot Professionals in Greece (ACPG)

With great success and pride, the official inauguration of the Association of Cypriot Professionals in Greece (ACPG) took place on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at the imposing venue of the National Museum of Contemporary Art (EMST) in Athens.
The event was addressed by the Minister of Energy, Commerce, and Industry of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. George Papanastasiou, who emphasized the strategic importance of this initiative, stating:
“The founding of the Association of Cypriot Professionals in Greece serves as a springboard for the further strengthening of professional relations, the exchange of expertise, and mutual growth, driven by excellence and the creation of opportunities for both countries.”
During the event, the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to Greece, Mr. Stavros Avgoustidis, and the President of ACPG, Ms. Despina Panayiotou Theodosiou, presented the vision and core objectives of the Association, highlighting the importance of this collective effort in connecting and showcasing Cypriot professionals in Greece.
They expressed their warm gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event—particularly the members of the Board of Directors, the founding members, and the sponsors for their trust and support of ACPG‘s vision.
The Secretary General for International Economic Relations of the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of Enterprise Greece, Mr. Dimitris Skalkos, referred to the strong and enduring ties between Greece and Cyprus, as well as the prospects for expanding cooperation in the sectors of investment and trade.
The event was attended by distinguished professionals, entrepreneurs, and representatives of institutional bodies, highlighting the dynamic presence of Cypriots active in Greece and the value of substantive networking.
ACPG’s mission is to strengthen the presence of Cypriot professionals in Greece through a stable framework of networking, support, and skill promotion, aiming for a substantive and lasting connection between the two countries at all levels..
