Cyprus Forum Expands to Athens! Co-organized with SKEE
The Inaugural Cyprus Forum Athens at the Eugenides Foundation
Following the success of the Cyprus Forum, the largest policy conference in Cyprus, Oxygen for Democracy, in strategic partnership with the Association of Cypriot Professionals in Greece (ACPG), is delighted to announce the organization of the first Cyprus Forum Athens. The event will take place on October 14, 2025, from 13:30 to 18:30, at the Eugenides Foundation (387 Syngrou Avenue, Palaio Faliro). The conference is held under the Auspices of the Embassy of Cyprus and is part of the “Cyprus Days” events.
ACPG, through its active role in promoting networking and cooperation between Cypriot and Greek professionals, plays a central part in co-organizing the Cyprus Forum Athens, bringing the voice of the business, academic, and scientific communities to the forefront.
“Through the Cyprus Forum Athens, ACPG gives a voice to private initiative, promoting substantial cooperation with institutional bodies to address common challenges. Innovation and entrepreneurship are the driving forces of growth; our goal is to transform ideas into applied solutions that benefit society in both sister countries,” stated Ms. Despina Panayiotou-Theodosiou, President of ACPG and CEO of Tototheo Global.
The Cyprus Forum Athens aspires to become an established annual event—a bridge between Cyprus and Greece—focusing on the further development of relations between the two countries and highlighting shared challenges and opportunities.
Building on the momentum of the main Cyprus Forum in Nicosia and parallel events in London and Brussels, this year’s gathering will feature distinguished politicians, academics, business leaders, and experts from both Greece and Cyprus.
Targeted panel discussions will cover:
-
The path of Greece–Cyprus cooperation: Three years after the adoption of the Intergovernmental Framework.
-
The role of professionals and entrepreneurs in economic growth.
-
Prospects for research and innovation as drivers of bilateral cooperation.
-
Priorities ahead of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU.
With thematic pillars including Foreign Policy & Geopolitics, Entrepreneurship & Economy, Technology & Innovation, and the European Future, the Cyprus Forum Athens—thanks to the contribution of ACPG—aims to serve as a hub for dialogue and collaboration for professionals and opinion leaders from both nations.
Further information regarding the agenda and registration will soon be available on the Cyprus Forum website.
