Niki Alexandrou

Vice President

Niki is an impact driven professional with over 2 decades experience in international finance, strategic advisory and social leadership.

In her career Niki is a finance Counsel at global legal practice Norton Rose Fulbright LLP. She advises banks, large corporates, public bodies and funds on project finance (including infrastructure and energy), shipping finance and real estate finance. She has overseen several awarded financings (such as the largest sustainability-linked financing in the shipping industry ($2.8bn)) and led deals involving complex geopolitical negotiations accross borders. She also leads local firm initiatives on AI legal innovation and sustainability.

Niki is also a member of the advisory board of Lean in, an international organisation whose mission is to suport women at the workplace. As Co-leader of Lean In Hellas Network Greece (Athens) she develops the network for high impact by partnering with organizations and companies around Greece who are committed to creating more equal workplaces and supporting women leaders in their roles. She is also member of the board of a financial institution in Cyprus.

Her people development skills have also led her to qualify as a Leadership Coach (ICF). As a ladership coach she supports professionals to succeed while steering away from burnout and mental health issues; business leaders to lead sustainably; and businesses to energize their employees and retain top talent. 

Her energy comes from being surrounded by youth. She is a mama to 4 boys, a top youth mentor for 100Mentors and an ambassador for food saving NGO Boroume. She has a real passion for knowledge and constant growth. She openly admits an obsession with audiobooks. 

Prior to her current roles, Niki worked and qualified as a solicitor at A&O Shearman (London, New York). She also worked as a case handler at the European Commission / DG Competition (Brussels). In 2004 Niki was admitted to the Law Society of England and Wales. In 2002 she was called to the Bar of England and Wales. She holds a postgraduate certificate on “Sustainable Leadership” from the University of Cambridge, a Master of Laws (LLM) from University College London and a degree (LLB) from University of Bristol.
